MARCH 5, 2017 post.....

Due to popular demand, we have taken our prices back to the original and shipping is charged by the amount of shipping we incur (ie we don't mark up shipping). Our store program computes your shipping based on weight and size of items to ship. Please note that pancake mix is heavy and may increase your shipping significantly, compared to the whoopie pies. Thank you

We sold these at the Farmers Market to the delight of our fans, who kept coming back for more!  All products are free of gluten, dairy, soy, peanuts, tree nuts (except coconut which the FDA improperly classified as a tree nut instead of a drupe), eggs, GMOs, artificial colors & artificial flavors, made with many organic ingredients whenever possible!

Inglorious Monk Bakery just completed the 2016 Boulder County Farmers Market, being a vendor there to the delight of fans. Overheard from the booth: "Oh my gosh! I DREAM of these!" and "I've searched everywhere for you. Thank goodness I've found you. Thank you!"

JANUARY 1, 2016 post...

When deciding to start this company, I set out to create treats that I believe in...the Inglorious Monk Bakery tagline "Simply Pure Pleasures" epitomizes first and foremost goal...creating *SCRUMPTIOUS* treats that were from simple and pure ingredients...i.e. no genetically modified organisms (GMOs), artificial flavors, no artificial colors, no preservatives, no chemicals, no ridiculous words you cannot pronounce. I hand selected suppliers with integrity and fair trade and who care about both the environment and people when producing and harvesting ingredients from the earth. I kept in mind the treats must be one that I would feed to my own family, the youngest member who was at the time 4. We created our own licensed commercial kitchen where all the "no's" never enter, so there is not a risk of cross contamination (having a now 22 year old who was diagnosed at age 3 with a severe peanut allergy, I understand the fears surrounding eating food that others take for granted.)

Here's one of many of our happy fans, the reason for which we bake these treats with love & integrity:

That's the simple part (i.e. a monk lives a simple life, humble and pure), but what of the "Inglorious" you ask?  A monk does not walk around telling everyone how Glorious he is...he just does his best to be the best that he can be everyday. He doesn't "toot his own horn." What he does speaks for itself.

At Inglorious Monk Bakery, that is our goal. To create the best quality and tasting treats, without many common allergens, using simple, pure ingredients (which requires quite a bit of creativity in choosing ingredients to make it taste as delicious as or more delicious than the "traditional" counterpart...hence we do not have 3 ingredients). At the same time, we are striving to be BETTER every day. We don't make one person happy and stop there. We are creating a treat that can be enjoyed by all....and we enjoy the fan mail, emails, letters, tweets, Facebook posts and more that we receive daily. Thanks for welcoming our treats into your home..it is with deepest gratitude for our fans that we bake these treats daily.  :)

We are on a mission to create great treats that are safe (free from allergens) and delicious.  We celebrate each and every one of you, and wish you all the joy that a simple treat can bring!  Thank you!
